Kundapura is the closest town to Kollur, and that shapes most of what we do here. Mookambika darshan, the Anegudde and Hattiangadi Ganapathi temples, Maranakatte during jatre season, and the run north to Murudeshwar and Jog — these are the routes our Kundapura drivers do week in and week out.
It is also the best base for the coast north of Udupi: Maravanthe, Trasi, Kodachadri and the Souparnika river. We pick up anywhere from Saligrama to Byndoor, and we are used to the mixed traffic on that stretch of NH-66 — which is precisely why hiring a driver here is worth it.

About 38 km, roughly an hour by car. It is the shortest approach to Mookambika from anywhere on the coast, which is why we suggest Kundapura as the overnight base if you want an unhurried morning darshan.
We drive you to the Kodachadri base at Nittur or Kollur. The last stretch to the summit is a rough forest track where only the local jeeps are permitted, and we will arrange one for you — our own vehicles do not go up.
Yes, the entire Kundapura taluk coastline. Maravanthe in particular is worth timing for sunset, and your driver will plan the day around that if you ask.
Yes, but book well ahead. The jatre season in December and January is our busiest period and the Urbania goes first. Give us two weeks' notice if you can.
