Padmavathi Tours & Travels runs nine fixed-duration sightseeing packages from Udupi: two local circuits of 4 and 8 hours covering Kunjargiri, Pajaka, Ambalpady, Malpe, Kapu and Mattu, and seven outstation circuits of 6 to 12 hours covering Kollur Mookambika, Murudeshwar, Idagunji, Gokarna, Sringeri, Horanadu, Kalasa, the Mangaluru temples, Dharmasthala, Southadka and Kukke Subrahmanya. Each is chauffeur-driven in a car or tempo traveller sized to the group, and is quoted per trip — no rates are published.

Each package is a route and a duration, not a fixed price list. You tell us which number you want and how many are travelling; we tell you which vehicle suits the group and quote the day all-inclusive — vehicle, driver, driver bata and fuel. Toll, parking and any permit charges are billed at actuals.

Each package states its own duration, from four hours for the Udupi local half day to twelve hours for the Gokarna, Malnad, Mangaluru and Dharmasthala circuits. The hours are the vehicle's running time from pickup to drop, not the darshan time.
Always. Every package is chauffeur-driven — the vehicle comes with one of our own drivers, who knows the darshan timings and the ghat roads. We do not offer self-drive on any vehicle.
Yes. These nine are the circuits we run most often, but they are a starting point. Add a temple, drop one, swap a beach for a waterfall — tell us what your family wants to see and we rebuild the day around it at the same duration.
Children above nine years are counted as full passengers. Below that they travel on a lap or share a seat, which matters mainly for choosing the right size of vehicle.
It follows your headcount. Two to four with luggage takes the Glanza or the Etios, five to seven the Innova Crysta or the Ertiga, eight to eleven the Tempo Traveller 11+1, and twelve or more the Force Urbania 16+1. For a twelve-hour circuit we usually suggest going one size up.
Your doorstep in Udupi or Manipal, at no extra charge within town limits. Pickups from Brahmavara, Kaup, Karkala, Kundapura and Mangaluru are arranged too — tell us the address when you book.
It can, and for families travelling with elderly parents it usually should. The Gokarna and Dharmasthala circuits in particular are far more comfortable as an overnight. We plan the halt and quote it the same way.
