About this trip
Package 3 continued another 90 kilometres up the coast to Gokarna. It is a genuinely long day and we say so plainly: twelve hours of it, with roughly seven on the road. Groups who want the same temples at a gentler pace usually take it as an overnight instead, and we are happy to plan it that way.

One thing worth knowing
Gokarna darshan for the Atmalinga has its own queue system and closes in the afternoon. We plan the day backwards from that window rather than from the departure time.
Which vehicle you will travel in
It follows your headcount rather than the package. Two to four passengers with luggage travel comfortably in the Glanza or the Etios; five to seven in the Innova Crysta or the Ertiga; eight to eleven in the Tempo Traveller 11+1; and twelve and above in the Force Urbania 16+1. This is a twelve-hour day, so we usually suggest going one size up — the extra room matters far more at hour ten than it does at hour two.
