Where the half day stops at Malpe, this one carries on up the coast. Uchila and Kapu Marigudi are working temples with unhurried darshan, the 1901 lighthouse at Kapu can be climbed for the view along the shoreline, and Mattu is the quiet beach locals keep for themselves. Eight hours covers it without anyone being hurried back into the vehicle.

Start by nine. The lighthouse at Kapu opens to visitors in the late afternoon, so the day works best running temples first and beaches after four.
